Molten Chocolate Mug Cake


For all our chocolate lovers out there, this one’s for you and as an homage to all our dear family members who just love their chocolate. Under bake this recipe just slightly for a take on a molten chocolate cake.


1 – Dry Ingredient Mix

Wet Ingredients You Need:

.25 cup milk of choice or water

2 tbsp neutral oil (light olive, canola, vegetable, safflower)

  • In a small microwave-safe bowl or mug (at least 8oz), combine all ingredients and stir until smooth
  • Microwave for 60 – 90 seconds or until cooked through and batter is no longer wet. Our test microwave was 1250W and for 60 seconds
  • Eat as is or top with additional toppings*

*Optional additions: chopped nuts, whipped cream, mixed berries, more chocolate chips, powdered sugar dusting, fresh mint, Ice cream or alternative

INGREDIENTS: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, baking powder, vanilla bean powder
